I think the word "supposedly" can be safely removed from the header of this
thread - if a "Brian Williams Problem" is now code for a journalist who has
been accused of saying things in public and on television about themselves
that exaggerates their importance and role in newsworthy events, then it
probably would be better called a "Bill O'Reilly" problem in the first
place. Olbermann has managed to find a way, in whatever incarnation he has
for himself, of detailing the offenses in great and humorous detail.

But my understanding of how this game has usually played out in the past is
that Bill O is able to make as much hay as he wants over any flaws in
journalists working for the liberal MSM, but any criticisms of him are
moot, because he is not a journalist, but an opinion leader. Indeed, I
could not name many people who work for Fox News who could not ultimately
hide behind that excuse - I guess maybe Chris Wallace (is he still at FN?)
and Shepard Smith?
