I remember reading about a show called "Can Do," which ran on NBC in prime
time right before the quiz scandals. It was fronted by Jack Barry and from
what I read was a cross between a big money quiz show and a panel game show
(the thing had Burl Ives as a panelist, IIRC). Seems to me that it went
off the air as the quiz scandals broke and replaced by a prime time version
of "Concentration," which had just started in NBC daytime and with Barry
hosting. That went off six weeks later, as Barry and Dan Enright became
persona non grata at the network and all of their shows save the daytime
shows ("Concentration," the allegedly unrigged daytime "Tic Tac Dough" and
the music quiz "Dough Re Mi") were taken off the air and their names
stricken from the credits.
