A worthwhile piece in The Guardian ahead of Corden's first show: http://www.theguardian.com/culture/2015/mar/20/james-corden-cbs-chatshow-late-late-show-craig-ferguson
The only thing I'd say about having all the guests on the sofa at the same time is that it takes some skill to weave between them and not have juddering gear changes between different guests. Graham Norton, who does that with his show once a week, has to work hard to find those natural inclusive moments. Still, having David Beckham in his first week is probably a good thing as they know one another and will get on. Beckham appeared in a previous Comic Relief sketch in character as Smithy from the sitcom he co-wrote Gavin & Stacey (a sitcom that has failed to translate for NBC, ABC *&* Fox which must be some kind of record): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uq_cwwWcyqQ Adam -- -- TV or Not TV ....
