Following on the heels of John "Capt. Jack" Barrowman and Alex "River Song"
Kingston who are part of the CW's DC superhero series "Arrow," another
recent companion from the 21st century run of U.K. sci-fi perennial "Doctor
Who" is joining the "Arrow"/"Flash" spin-off -- apparently a sort of
Justice League Light. Arthur Darville -- Rory Williams (husband to leggy
Amy Pond on DW), and late of "Broadchurch" and the Broadway company of the
musical "Once" -- is returning to time-travel as DC's so-called Time
Master, Rip Hunter.

Meanwhile, Marvel has snapped up the 9th Doctor (and "Broadchurch" star)
David Tennant to play the villain Killgrave on their Netflix series
"AKA Jessica Jones," opposite the former Bitch in Apartment 23, Krysten
Ritter. These days, ya need a superhero scorecard.
