For a long time he anchored a network newscast Sunday nights *after* late local news... it started in 1973, but did it really last until the 90s as I supposedly read somewhere? (Personal story: dad and mom had neighbours on their street named "Kiefer", and one of the elderly parents' kids was, like moi, called Bob. You can imagine what I thought I had heard while laying in bed one Sunday night in what I'm guessing was one of the first few years Bob S. had that late show...
