Orioles owner Peter Angelos was/is none too pleased to have a team in 
Washington eating into his revenues. (He was the sole vote against the Expos' 
move in '05.) MASN was set up to appease Angelos, with the O's receiving a 
super-majority (no less than 2/3) share in the cable outlet. That share is now 
(Aug'14) 86-14% O's, and the Nats would like to renegotiate.
