The significant difference is the use of the phrase, which is fundamentally degrading and insulting to women. It's one thing to mess with a live shot. It's quite another to yell a pair of obscenities, and it's significantly worse when it's done in front of a woman.
And I'd note no charges have been filed: the guy simply got sacked because it was relatively obvious who he was. It's not as though he was doxxed.
