I seem to recall Leno getting a bit emotional talking about his dad after
the Boston Red Sox won the World Series in 2004 (Three players were
guesting that night). Jay said that he wasn't much of a sports fan, but
his dad was the biggest Red Sox fan he knew, and he was sad that he wasn't
around to see the Sox finally win the big one. Until then, I never really
saw the "softer" side of Jay.

I also liked Steve Bridges' early appearances as George W. Bush. The jokes
usually fell flat, but the impression was incredibly accurate.

Shortly after 9/11. Jay having his wife on as a guest to talk about her
work helping the women of Afghanistan.
