This would be the third Stooges animated series, following 1965's "The New 3 Stooges" (the number "3" because Columbia Pictures still owned "The Three Stooges" as a trademark) from the people behind "Clutch Cargo" (but using standard limited animation techniques, not "Synchro-Vox") and 1977's "The Robonic Stooges" from Hanna-Barbera (which supposedly is still on CN/Boomerang's "Do Not Air Except for Thanksgiving Turkey Marathons" list because it was so awful--although it sounds like something Adult Swim would pull out when it wants to play around with its more easily-angered viewers who spend too much time on message boards and Twitter).
