For advertising and rating purposes, Adult Swim is considered a separate
channel.  Nickelodeon and Nick at Nite are also considered separate
channels, although there's more of a connection between the two in recent
years than back in the 90s.

And if Comedy Central is rerunning "South Park" during the day now, Turner
could make Adult Swim 24/7, although the anime geeks would probably prefer
a 24/7 Toonami.  If AS did make the separation, I would have the feeling
that CN would still be airing "Adventure Time" and "Steven Universe" all
night, just as Disney reruns their sitcoms all night.  In other words, no
return of "Late Night Black and White" or "Toon Heads."
