I liked Williams better when he anchored MSNBC's hour-long newscast anyway. There were more in-depth pieces and Williams is actually good with Q & A with generals and other officials. I doubt he'd get an hour four nights a week again, but maybe they'll give him the chance to remind viewers why he ended up as the anchor to begin with. Besides, NBC is losing known-faces who can handle things like election coverage and other big events. I'd rather hear Brian's made up stories than anything Chris Matthews has to say.
