Easton's Sal Panto garnered FNC attention among others after going out to
the town square, whose flags are illuminated all night, one night since the
Charleston recruiter shootings, and lowering the stars 'n stripes halfway
despite no order to do so from state nor Feds... eventually Bam made such
an order, but an announced interview by Megyn got scuttled (presumably due
to more longwindedness about other **** on the part of their panel that
night... -b) Jim Deegan, editor of the *Express-Times*

Panto, for his part, welcomed the sudden curtailing of attention, and
griped about how the original complaint about the flag came from a Facebook
post, which sadly doesn't show up on his phone, whereas emails do (that's
how he responded to me over the winter when I asked about whether the
square's lights are shut off overnights)
