I've been playing along with the "hairpiece" sobriquet here and elsewhere, but at a South Carolina appearance, he made a remark about his locks, making eye contact with a woman and motioning her onto the stage to have a feel... she happens to be the wife of that state's House's GOP leader, and "To me it looked real..."
