As somebody pointed out elsewhere, that Downton Abbey strives for a degree of realism is to be commended, even if they don't always hit the mark.
That a head-of-state has so little to do that she can waste time dissecting several TV shows would be annoying to me if I lived in a monarchy where part of my income went to supporting her family. But since I don't, I think the Queen should publish a blog about TV.
