Not sure I ever saw an episode of Route 66, but Adam 12 played frequently on local TV (alongside Emergency! and Dragnet) and I was a fan. He was also the victim of the first (non-pilot) episode of Columbo. And one cannot forget he appeared in a Mamie Van Doren picture "Sex Kittens Go To College." Or maybe one can forget that.
