I assume most of the announcers were staffers at WRC in Washington and I wonder if either Willard Scott or DC legend Mac McGarry (best known for hosting the DC version of "It's Academic" for 54 years and running, with Giant Food supermarkets the sponsor for the entire run) ever had to do the opening for "MTP" at some time).
