I believe you’re thinking of “Crime & Punishment.” It was a “reality-ish” show that followed real-life criminal trials into the courtroom. Lasted for a couple of seasons. “Conviction” was a scripted courtroom drama. Lots of gorgeous New York lawyers, with swanky wardrobes and apartments, considering the salaries of civil servant prosecutors. Typical boilerplate Dick Wolf stuff.
