It's a test show, so I'll simply say that the audio quality already crushes the
vast majority of podcasts. Unfortunately that bar is still so very low, but
Kevin and Craig surpassed it immensely.

When Hollywood & I parted company back in 2001, I made a vow that if I ever
returned to the business we call show, it would only be on my terms. And back
in 2001 that would have been virtually impossible. But now it is 2015, and
times have changed.
I've started a podcast. Entitled "Get Off My Lawn" because I am nothing if not
a lovable curmudgeon, the podcast is devoted to writers, writing, and those who
work in the creative side of the arts. I've been planning it for months,
conducting interviews over the last several weeks, and working out the
technical end of things to the point when I am now, finally, ready to announce.
I want the podcast to be a celebration of words and music and entertainment. I
want it to showcase good people who produce amazing content. I want it to
feature interesting and fun interviews filled with stories of artists and their
craft.
Currently I've posted a sort of introductory podcast, a teaser of things to
come. The first official episode will drop on Sunday, September 27th and
feature a way-cool interview with Bill Scheft, longtime writer on both Late
Night with David Letterman and Late Show with David Letterman. We talk about
some of the most memorable moments from Dave's decades in late night TV. We
talk about Jay Leno, Bill Maher, and Scheft's new book, "Shrink Thyself," which
is a dark comedy I recommend.
Future guests include Bob Perlow, longtime sitcom writer and professional
warm-up guy (stories from Mork & Mindy and Night Court that must be heard to be
believed); Vic Cohen, the subject of a documentary by Howie Mendel that has
been over 15 years in the making (recorded live in Canter's Deli the day before
the Jewish new year); and Rench, the man behind the group Gangstagrass, best
known for their Emmy nominated theme from the FX series "Justified."
