I am trying not to helicopter too much over my young adult daughters who live in Brooklyn (but one is spending the night at a hotel in Manhattan). If anyone on the list who is in NYC can give a quick report on the danger-levels in the City associated with the hurricane I would appreciate it. It does not look like it is going to make landfall there, but are there realistic concerns of flooding in the low lying areas over the weekend?
