"Limitless" is fun but not living up to its potential. "Code Black" is slowly piling up on the DVR waiting for its turn in the overstuffed fall rotation. I'll miss "The Player" both as a fun brainless action show and an outlet for VJ Boyd's fandom of Dallas-based "The Ticket" sports radio station. Just as he did on "Justified", Boyd drops in the names of various Ticket personalities as characters major and minor in the episodes he writes. (Potential cartel hitman target "Bob Sturm" from episode 3, for example.) "Justified’ characters sound familiar? They’re shout-outs to The Ticket" http://www.dallasnews.com/entertainment/television/headlines/20150301-justified-characters-sound-familiar-theyre-shout-outs-to-the-ticket.ece -- Ed Dravecky Dallas, Texas -- -- TV or Not TV ....
