Lorraine Markham claims her late husband, Bill, is solely responsible for
inventing The Game of Life in 1959.

Reuben Klamer, once the head of a side business formed by TV icon Art
Linkletter, contends he pitched the game to Milton Bradley, now Hasbro. He
argues Bill only designed the game board and his widow isn't entitled to
any more royalties.

The TV angle: Klamer and Linkletter allegedly went back to Hasbro in the
2000s about a possible TV version of the game without the Markhams'
knowledge.
