Well we knew I was going to have to post this. It does, as the author of the article suggests, raise serious concerns about the potential for identity fraud. But I also have never understood why the rich and famous suddenly become too stupid to handle their own money. I know I've never been rich -- I was only briefly even middle income -- but surely your basic millionaire can set aside a Saturday afternoon to pay the bills and balance the checkbook. That can include paying a management firm to handle certain business-related expenses, but to hand over access to all of one's finances to another person... most modern married couples don't even do that anymore.
