Between the Portland area location shoots and the occasional Trek alumni
guest-star and/or director (I think Sunday's episode had both), I'm into the
show.  I think - oddly enough - it does better in the episodes without Noah
Wyle (who starred in the TNT tv movies).  I don't subscribe to the theory that
Wyle is channeling some hodgepodge of various Doctors, but he seems to be in a
different show from the rest of the cast.

I've really tried to get into the Librarians. Rebecca Romijn is incredibly
watchable, and yet the series itself just doesn't hold my interest. I think it
tries too hard to be quirky. But I'm sure I'll catch an episode or two of the
next season because... well... have I mentioned Rebecca Romijn?

Murder in The First had previously been renewed for a third season.
