I don't blame NBC for not having a live audience. Their plays are tightly
timed and they figure in time for laughter and applause breaks. Plus I
recorded The Wiz on Saturday night and watched it yesterday FFing through
the commercial breaks. The commercial breaks ran 4:30 or 5 minutes and it
would be a chore to keep a live audience engaged for that long a time.
