To complicate matters, at the end of the Top Gear race from Greater London to
Monte Carlo (car vs. trains) Clarkson praised the Aston Martin DB9 he drove
with several superlatives, starting with "a proper...pucker...of an Aston
Martin"  (starting at roughly :21)

As this is a 2004 car, with a much larger engine, is Clarkson referring to
certain things puckering when at a certain level of acceleration or speed?

the heck does “p*cker of a BMW” mean?  I’ve substituted every permutation I can
come up with: packer, pecker, picker, pucker…none of them rise to the level of
profanity that would call for censorship (unless “pecker” maybe?  Oh,
lawdy…somebody call the Reverend!  J ), and none of them make any sense,
grammatically.   Just curious.  J  Doug FieldsTampa, FL    From:

An understandable letdown from the Bam-Bam opening, though the 1972 p*cker of a
BMW looks fantastic... as does Kathleen Madigan.
