Dad's street is turrible, tho normal-size cars are getting through, and
it's questionable if enough melting will occur by Wednesday. Brother #3 at
least cut out a way for postal and newspaper people to get to the porch,
tho the paper (they've caught up as of now) is usually thrown onto our
front porch, which I managed to clear, but not salt, Sunday prior to the
football.

Brothers have looked it over, and doubt trash/recycling (put off at least a
day) will even bother this week. One of the trash cans got blown down the
hill from the back porch, and the parking lot fence kept it from going a
lot farther away... the lid came off, and won't be visible until a
helluvalotta more melting does occur.

For better or worse, dad doesn't need to eat that much, as his activity is
limited by his existing condition. The sky is clearing as I type this, so
I'll be outside soon to see if any untouched snow can still be shoveled.
The throat specialist's office was nice enough to reschedule what would
have been a this-afternoon visit, but that means I'll still have to hear
his daily loudly-clearing-his-throat for another two weeks...

Did I ever tell this list about the thermometer on the back window of the
house? I blame Superstorm Sandy for effing it up, but for whatever reason,
it's always 40+ degrees ahead of the actual temp...
