Thanks for the reminder about the Smithsonian Channel (I remember hearing on
Sunday Morning that it repeats on that channel). So, I just looked it up. The
website says that it’s available on Channel F on Xfinity. What the hell is
“Channel F”?!!! I feel I should know what Channel F is, but I don’t. I can
download the app, which I will do.

My DVR is now set to automatically record Sunday Morning. Until recently, I
had just assumed that Sunday Morning, like Sixty Minutes, was available On
Demand.

Also, I’m now able to program my DVR when I’m away, THE one feature I’ve always
wanted. What was my first test of this feature? The New Year’s Day concert
from Vienna on PBS for my mother, although I’m not sure how she’s going to see
it – but there are three options: 1. When she’s visiting me; 2. When I’m
visiting her, on my iPad if we’re somewhere that has good WiFi; and 3. At my
sister’s in California, since she has access to my password and anything she
plays on her phone can be played on her Apple TV.

I wish my father were still alive to have access to all of this technology.

My only complaint about show: why isn’t it available On Demand?

Sunday Morning now repeats Sunday afternoons on
Smithsonian channel if you get that on cable or satellite.
It is also available through the CBS Roku app.
Watching it there is a little funky because it is split up
by stories, in reverse order of how they ran on the show,
ads run in between every 2nd or 3rd story and some stories
don't make it to Roku, I'm guessing because of music or video
rights when they have an interview with a music or TV/movie
celebrity.
