All the quibbling aside over whether a once-a-week show airing before 11 during the week qualifies as 'late night' I enjoyed the first episode last night. While the format is probably closest to Last Week Tonight, I think any content similarities can be chalked up to the TDS influence common to both hosts.
The promotional clips already indicate that field pieces will be a regular part of the show, and Bee has, at least in the first episode, a lower bar for tolerating bullshit than she did at TDS. She may stand a better chance of filling anyone's Stewart-shaped hole in their television interests of anyone so far. David -- -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
