In today's paper I learned that the (rather aged) partners in a beloved hot
dog shop whose history dates back to the 19-teens, are selling the place in
a few weeks... they've been trying to do it for years apparently, but
disagreed as to how much they'd get and (needlessly) dragged other family
into the dispute... Express-Times

(What they don't tell you is that the franks are fried in oil; my parents
loved them.)

Meanwhile up the road in Allentown, Philly-cheesesteak icon Tony Luke's,
despite being within spitting distance of its center-city arena, didn't
quite live up to expectations (most people around here, and in many parts
of the nation, prefer pizza sauce on the large meat sandwiches, but
Philadelphians don't; and they were pricey); a local maker of the product
steps in to fill the spot... Express-Times

And, another area restaurant I've been to is on a county sheriff's sale
list, sale is like a month off... sad.
