In today's paper I learned that the (rather aged) partners in a beloved hot dog shop whose history dates back to the 19-teens, are selling the place in a few weeks... they've been trying to do it for years apparently, but disagreed as to how much they'd get and (needlessly) dragged other family into the dispute... Meanwhile up the road in Allentown, Philly-cheesesteak icon Tony Luke's, despite being within spitting distance of its center-city arena, didn't quite live up to expectations (most people around here, and in many parts of the nation, prefer pizza sauce on the large meat sandwiches, but Philadelphians don't; and they were pricey); a local maker of the product steps in to fill the spot...
