Not so much of a tangent, as both men have directed Star Trek pictures. Wise
preceded Meyer in the director's chair with The Motion Picture.

Still, there is a terrific commentary track which is a a conversation between
Nicholas Meyer and director Robert Wise. I was impressed by the way Meyer
questioned Wise's directorial decisions.
