I just checked my provider's website (eastlink.ca) and see that they offer
a "CRTC compliant package" for $25 **plus a $5.95 receiver charge** .
Apparently that's allowed. ('I'll sell you this water, but you must pay
for the hose").
I love (sarcasm) spin they put on being compliant.
