The inability of someone to adequately shovel snow out of Syracuse's stadium -- and forecasts of still-wintry weather including possible additional snow -- forced Lehigh Valley's first opponent of the season to can their opening series together today through Sunday...
Angry big-league officials, desperate to get players needed game experience, talked the IronPigs into replaying two of the games Friday in their venue, despite it's not being completely ready for the season... this is not unlike what happened last year when Baltimore's civil strife forced at least one big-league game to be played *sans* spectators... So the local cable's added two we're-not-the-home-team games about which I'm surprised many local fans would care given they could have just been held at some other time in the 'Cuse... I feel sorry for Syracuse fans who likely will be lucky to get these lost games online, and won't be thrilled with having to listen on radio... B -- -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
