I'm pretty sure no such channel exists for these rare conflicts. That may have to do with Root not being owned by a major local system operator that would be happy to provide the space (like Comcast, which has the city). I did read some local discussion about how the Pirate game wouldn't be televised. No such problem this week. The Pirates are out in San Diego during the week, so (based on schedule websites): The Penguins’ Game 3 on Tuesday will precede the Pirates’ game following at 10. Thursday will see Game 4 but no Pirates’ game – it starts at 9:10.
