The thing here is that Seacrest's radio show would be hurt in his home market, where it's heard live on KIIS (not to mention the possibility of displacing Elvis Duran in morning drive on iHeart's Z100 in NY). If what he's said about radio being his first love is true, seems to me that he would not want to hurt his primary radio activity, especially if it's not been proven that the "Live!" audience will take to him. No matter what, it's another round of auditions for Ripa and GELMAN! again.
