BTW, back in 1998, on my first trip to California, I went to Television City and watched a taping of three episodes of that year's Match Game revival. Interesting experience. Among that version's problems was that the panel never gelled - Vicki Lawrence was the only panelist who seemed interested in actually playing the game. Best thing about that version was the emcee, Michael Burger - a worthy successor to Rayburn, and a host who could have been a big name in the game show field if he'd been born twenty years earlier.
