I'm not sure how much US coverage is covering it, but I watched a press conference online today and one of the callers was from the NY Times, so I assume its getting some coverage.

I'm sure that will grow. I have yet to see the impact of the fires in the downtown area. CBC's "The National" had at least 20 minutes of stories (out of 60) about the fire tonight.
