While the revamped first act is perhaps the most significant change since Licht
took over, there are other small touches that have made the show seem a bit
more consistent.
Coming Up bumpers, most notably the one going into the commercial before the
first guest, where you see said guest waiting in the wings (next to a digital
photo setup comparable to Corden's).
The short musical segment late in the show (where Alan Kalter would usually
have something silly/funny to say) now takes advantage of one of the digital
screens in the Ed to promote either the next guest or the next week's guests.
Of course, YMMV. Independent of the staff changes, I think the banter between
Batiste and Colbert is more natural and more frequent than it used to be.

biggest lead on JK since January. Corden also logged his best numbers since the
post-SB show.
These come just as my local paper -- ostensibly scratching for space-fillers --
dug up this Colbert piece from late April/early May (link).
