My cableco offers the full seasons (just one for each so far) of Killjoys and
The Expanse.
The 12 Monkey series on SyFy also gets good marks.
The CW does have The 100 and Contagion, but I think their slate is much more
fantasy-oriented, with a couple of vampire shows in addition to Supernatural.
Of the current superhero series on television, I think The Flash is probably
the most science fiction of the bunch.

Syfy has been adding more sci-fi, but if you count superhero as sci-fi, then it
could be.
Just plug Syfy a little: The Expanse on Syfy is _really_ good. They're
currently in production for season 2.
Z Nation is a good zombie series, not as dark as some others. First 2 seasons
are on Netflix.
Killjoys and Dark Matter are both OK space opera kind of science fiction. Not
high budget, but fun kind of stuff.
But definitely, if you like sci-fi, you should watch The Expanse.

Is it my imagination, or does the CW run more science fiction/fantasy than SyFy
at this point? (For that matter, I can't even remember the last time I watched
SyFy...possibly the Warehouse 13 finale...?)
Supergirl will thrive in the CW Berlantiverse, although it sucks to see Crazy
Ex-Girlfriend moved to the Friday Night Death Slot; I haven't watched it
myself, but I've heard good things (and I've thoroughly enjoyed some of the
songs I've seen on YouTube). I'd say maybe it's time for the CW to expand to a
6th night, but I know that would disrupt a lot of local baseball packages.
