The Sprint Cup schedule has hopped networks so many times in the last few years that I've lost track (pun intended). I was at the track for the Saturday night Charlotte race in October where NASCAR officials were stretching out pre-race activities a bit because the Notre Dame game was running late.
This year, the Saturday night races are on NBC while the Sunday races are on NBCSN for the second half of the year. Next year there are all kinds of schedule changes and the series doesn't have a title sponsor yet, since Sprint's deal expires after this year. NASCAR's tendency to change the rules as they see fit to cater to or punish particular drivers has caused me to lose a bit of interest in it. There really is no big name recognition at this point except for Dale Jr. and they're hurting because of it. -Stan -- -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
