The thing I noticed from the comments of Feder's full-length post on the
affiliation switch is that certain Chicago expats are hoping that this
means that WGN America will go back to being a superstation and that sports
and Tom Skilling will be back (one even hoped that Bozo would come back).
You can guess what demo they all fall in and that they're going to be
disappointed, because despite the loss they took on the "Person of
Interest" and "Elementary" reruns, Trib is happy with WGNA and its original
scripted programming as it is and the Cubs and Tom Skillethead aren't
coming back (and as long as there's a Nick, Disney and Cartoon Network,
Bozo sure as hell ain't coming back).
