They used to black it out in Indy regardless of the attendance. In the past, there were attendance claims of 500,000, but the 500 doesn't release official attendance. I guess they're saying 350,000 now.
In the 70s and 80s, it would be broadcast 2 weeks later. Then it went to same day broadcast, a couple of hours after the race.
