There was an alternate 'happy' ending for the Lionsgate-produced ABC drama,
but apparently "four to five" other possible telecasters have inquired
about picking it up, so it gave way to the one shown Wednesday (25)...
iconic writer/producers Zwick and Herskovitz ("thirtysomething") are
(still) being courted as showrunners should there be a deal...
