Fox Sports basically gave Vin, in his final season of broadcasting, an open
offer to take any part of the broadcast, from a cameo to calling the entire
game. And Vin being Vin, he declined, saying he didn't want to overshadow
things, despite the fact that he would not only not overshadow things, he'd
basically make the broadcast must-watch television.

Also, MLB released a video of Vin reciting the "People Will Come" speech
from Field Of Dreams. Because apparently the league wants people who love
the sport and Vin to just start sobbing and heaving.

Stupid damned sports: I'm not supposed to care that much about you!
