tl;dr My 5YO nephew needs a wheelchair accessible van and we're trying
to raise money to buy him one. Link(s) are at the bottom.
My nephew, Jack was born prematurely and was diagnosed at an early age
with Cerebral Palsy. Specifically Spastic Diplegia CP. This affects his
leg muscles/lower extremities and, thus, his mobility.
I won't bore you with a sob story but it's been a tough road for him &
this will make a huge difference in his mobility. You don't want to
think of 5 year-olds in "their wheels" but that's the hand he's been
dealt and we (his parents, me, my/mybro's mom & dad) are trying to stay
positive.
Ideally we'd have everyone donate, he gets his van and all would be
right with the world. However, we do recognize that not everyone can
donate (or is comfortable doing so). At the very least, we're asking
that you share our campaign on your various social media platforms.
Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Pintrest...whatever.
