As someone who endured the Windows 10 upgrade only to discover (after the
30 day uninstall window had passed) that both my audio and video drivers
caused massive fatal system errors, Microsoft can bite me.

Wouldn't it just make sense that, before a system install, the installer
can scan the computer in question to determine whether the new system will
actually work?

And though I am no conspiracy theorist, I firmly believe Microsoft has
built intentional bugs/glitches in Windows 7 & 8 to try to motivate users
to upgrade.
