The auditions were shot at the same theater Fremantle used for "Idol"'s Hollywood Week in the past. Wiki says it's the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. I think Judge's Cuts were at the same place. Otherwise, they'd probably use CBS TV City as they did before Stern.
