WTF? I actually saw this segment live - after days of NBC soft-peddling Lochte's dishonesty (I thought Lauer's primetime report of a conversation he had with the swimmer was a disgrace) Al finally had enough when Billy Bush emphasized the over-exaggerating line again. I was impressed that such a party line guy like Roker was willing to actually tell the truth: "He lied. He lied to you, he lied to Matt Lauer, he lied to his mom, [and] he left his teammates hanging while he skedaddled.’’
Al was not frothing at the mouth, he was not out of control, but he did show genuine exasperation, with both Lochte and with Bush.
