I went to a Trenton Thunder game for the first time a few weeks ago. (It
was part of an outing organized by my office.) The ballpark was hyping
"Pitch" a lot, on the video screen, P.A. announcements, and in posters
around the park.

All I'll say is, I hope the TV show is more interesting than a real minor
league game. I left during the fourth inning because it was already 8:30 pm
and I had to go to work the next morning. Don't think I missed much in the
rest of the game. The Thunder is a mediocre team, and their competition
that night, the Akron Rubber Ducks, wasn't much better. (I never did find
out who won that night.)

The most exciting part of the night was seeing if my ice cream would
completely melt in the 90 degree heat before I finished the cone.
