These are helpful observations; I really agree that Dansen is the show so far - and not just his acting, but the way the role is written gives him surprisingly a lot to do. I like the point about the ethical discussion; not just the explicit conversation with the professor of ethics (Kant and Aristotle don't often get this much airtime in a sit com), but the depiction suggests that Eleanor is not too wrong that at least some of the other characters are not all that good either. Somehow the point of this show certainly is that nobody really belongs in The Good Place.
