I often worked shifts and was home during the day to watch the soaps. I really enjoyed All My Children, Watched One Life to Live less often, but found both to be enjoyable. I always thought the soaps got a bad rap for being low quality TV. The story-lines were often engaging and touched on social issues that night-time TV was afraid to handle. The amount of dialogue the actors had to learn was phenomenal, I think Agnes Nixon brought a lot of entertainment to a lot of people, and should be honored as a true great in the TV industry. May she rest in peace.
